We cherish our heritage and the opportunity to share it with others. Previous generations of villagers have created and cared for this church and it serves as a place of inspiration, witness and prayer for many.
As guardians for future generations, we continue to look after this church and are keen to enhance peoples’ experiences here.

History of St Andrew's
Although outwardly you can see signs of a thriving village from the medieval period, there were much earlier residents in this wooded valley. Long before the arrival of the Romans in Britain in 43 AD, there is evidence of an early Celtic tribe’s pagan temple where St Andrew’s now stands.
Beautiful Castle Combe
If you have time, we recommend trying one of the circular walking routes from the village. These mainly follow ancient paths and lanes through pretty villages, deep wooded valleys and open farming landscapes.
