On Friday 13th and Saturday 14th September, St Andrew’s participated for a 4th year in the annual Heritage Open Days festival. The St Andrew’s team manned the church and were on hand to welcome visitors and provide information about the church and local heritage. Having completed the latter part of St Aldhelm’s Way pilgrim route on Friday 24thMay (Colerne to Littleton Drew) and Saturday 25th May (Littleton Drew to Malmesbury Abbey), Karen shared her photos of the route and other information about St Aldhelm and other ancient local paths and routes.
We hosted a village coffee morning on the Friday and greeted and offered refreshments to Ride and Stride participators on the Saturday. With our Harvest festival on the Sunday, it was a busy weekend but a very enjoyable one seeing locals and meeting visitors to the village.
